A native of New York City, Ric is the epitome of an urban yogi. Used to the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced city life, Ric began turning to meditation to create an inner sanctuary of peace, calm and quiet. Through exploring meditation he discovered the life-changing power of yoga. After graduating from NYU's School of Journalism, he spent 15 years building a successful career in digital advertising, helping to develop successful sales organizations and strategic marketing programs for many Fortune 100 companies. And after reaching multiple professional heights in the corporate world, Ric decided to turn his personal passions in meditation, yoga and fitness into new professions and hasn't looked back since. He became a registered 500-hour yoga instructor, certified in Vinyasa Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra, and also teaches Yin Yoga privately. Ric teaches weekly group classes throughout New York City.
While working with many first-time yogis and beginners, as well as people with injuries, Ric discovered the need for more assisted yoga, which led him to go on to study in Thai Yoga Massage. He enrolled in the renowned Lotus Palm Thai Yoga Massage School, where he has completed certifications in traditional and Ayurvedic Thai Yoga bodywork, as well as traditional Gliding Hands Aromatherapy work using essential oils warmed to deliver ultimate relaxation. Through this ancient healing system of dynamic stretching and energy work, Ric aims to help his clients develop greater body awareness while providing a deeply relaxing and meditative full-body massage.
An avid gym goer, Ric is also currently completing his certification in personal training through the American College of Sports and Medicine to provide his clients with a comprehensive approach to well-being through conscious exercise and fitness training.
Ric's passions include a voracious appetite for music, traveling, food and spending quality time with family and friends.
